Come and meet the practical volunteer group in action at Ranscombe, and find out about the essential conservation activities that they undertake throughout the year.
This event, is ideal for anybody who is interested in getting involved and would like to know more. Have a go at woodland habitat management and at making simple coppice products like fencing stakes and rails.
Please come dressed for the weather and the terrain for example, wear appropriate outdoor clothing, walking boots or sturdy shoes , waterproofs if needed, a hat and sun cream in warmer weather and extra water.
There’s no need to book tickets, you can simply drop in during 10am and 2pm on the day and give it a go! You’re welcome to come for the whole session or just part of it.
If you really enjoy the session and would like to become a volunteer, simply talk to one of the team on the day or send us an email here.
